AN  ACT  making  an appropriation to pay Verna Kirwan, widow of the late
  Thomas J.   Kirwan, member of the  assembly  from  the  one  hundredth
  assembly  district,  the balance due of his unpaid annual compensation
  for a portion of the year 2011

  THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  Section  1.  The  sum  of six thousand eight hundred seven dollars and
sixty-eight cents ($6,807.68) is hereby appropriated out of  any  moneys
in  the  general  fund  of the state treasury to the credit of the state
purposes account  not  otherwise  appropriated,  for  payment  to  Verna
Kirwan,  the  widow of the late Thomas J. Kirwan, member of the assembly
from the one hundredth assembly district, who died on the  twenty-eighth
day  of  November 2011, for the balance due of the unpaid annual compen-
sation which would have been earned by him had he continued to live  and
serve  as  such member until the thirty-first day of December, 2011. The
amount hereby appropriated shall be payable to Verna Kirwan on the audit
and warrant of the comptroller on a voucher certified or approved in the
manner prescribed by law.
  S 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
