AN ACT to amend part A of chapter 56 of the laws of  2014  amending  the
  education  law relating to the closure of charter schools, in relation
  to the effectiveness of certain provisions thereof

  THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  Section  1.  Section  30  of part A of chapter 56 of the laws of 2014,
amending the education law relating to the closure of  charter  schools,
is amended by adding a new subdivision 3-a to read as follows:
  3-A.  SECTION  ELEVEN-A  OF THIS ACT SHALL TAKE EFFECT IMMEDIATELY AND
SHALL BE DEEMED TO HAVE BEEN IN FULL FORCE AND EFFECT ON AND AFTER  JULY
1, 2013.
  S  2.  This  act  shall take effect immediately and shall be deemed to
have been in full force and effect on the same  date  and  in  the  same
manner as part A of chapter 56 of the laws of 2014, took effect.
