AN ACT to amend a chapter of the laws of 2014 amending  chapter  890  of
  the  laws  of  1982,  relating  to  the establishment of certain water
  charges for hospitals and charities  in  New  York  city  relating  to
  extending  the  effectiveness of such chapter, as proposed in legisla-
  tive bills numbers S. 6522 and A. 9523, in relation  to  the  National
  September 11 Memorial & Museum

  THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  Section 1. A chapter of the laws of 2014 amending chapter 890  of  the
laws of 1982, relating to the establishment of certain water charges for
hospitals  and  charities  in  New  York  city relating to extending the
effectiveness of such chapter, as proposed in legislative bills  numbers
S.  6522  and A. 9523, is amended by adding a new section 1-a to read as
follows:
  S 1-A. NOTWITHSTANDING THE PROVISIONS OF CHAPTER 696 OF  THE  LAWS  OF
1887,  AS AMENDED, TO THE CONTRARY, THE NATIONAL SEPTEMBER 11 MEMORIAL &
MUSEUM SHALL BE AN ELIGIBLE ENTITY FOR THE EXEMPTION  PROVIDED  IN  SUCH
CHAPTER.
  S  2.  This  act  shall  take  effect on the same date and in the same
manner as a chapter of the laws of 2014 amending chapter 890 of the laws
of 1982, relating to the establishment  of  certain  water  charges  for
hospitals  and  charities  in  New  York  city relating to extending the
effectiveness of such chapter, as proposed in legislative bills  numbers
S. 6522 and A.  9523, takes effect.
