LENTOL -- read once and referred to the Committee on Transportation AN ACT to amend the railroad law, in relation to the prohibition of the use of trains without conductors in certain circumstances THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The railroad law is amended by adding a new section 109 to read as follows: S 109. USE OF TRAINS WITHOUT CONDUCTORS PROHIBITED IN CERTAIN CIRCUM- STANCES. ANY TRAIN OPERATING WITHOUT THE USE OF A CONDUCTOR IS PROHIBIT- ED FROM PASSING UNDER ANY BODY OF WATER. S 2. This act shall take effect on the thirtieth day after it shall have become a law. EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets [ ] is old law to be omitted. LBD05917-01-9
