Hawley) -- read once and referred to the Committee on Governmental Employees AN ACT relating to part-time police officer positions in the villages of Corfu and LeRoy in Genesee county THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Notwithstanding any law, rule or regulation to the contra- ry, part-time police officer positions in the village of Corfu and the village of LeRoy, in the county of Genesee, shall be deemed non-competi- tive positions for purposes of civil service. S 2. This act shall take effect immediately. EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets [ ] is old law to be omitted. LBD15920-01-2
