GOTTFRIED, LANCMAN, LUPARDO, MAGEE, MENG, O'DONNELL, PEOPLES-STOKES, PERRY, PRET- LOW, SCARBOROUGH, ZEBROWSKI -- read once and referred to the Committee on Insurance AN ACT to amend chapter 447 of the laws of 2009, amending the insurance law relating to a health insurance demonstration program for independ- ent workers, in relation to the effectiveness thereof THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Section 2 of chapter 447 of the laws of 2009, amending the insurance law relating to a health insurance demonstration program for independent workers, is amended to read as follows: S 2. This act shall take effect immediately and shall expire and be deemed repealed December 31, [2013] 2014. S 2. This act shall take effect immediately. EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets [ ] is old law to be omitted. LBD14199-01-2
