LENTOL -- read once and referred to the Committee on Higher Education AN ACT to amend chapter 548 of the laws of 2004, amending the education law relating to certain tuition waivers for police officer students of the city university of New York, in relation to extending the provisions of such chapter THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Section 2 of chapter 548 of the laws of 2004, amending the education law relating to certain tuition waivers for police officer students of the city university of New York, as amended by chapter 70 of the laws of 2012, is amended to read as follows: S 2. This act shall take effect immediately and shall expire and be deemed repealed July 1, [2014] 2016. S 2. This act shall take effect immediately. EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets [ ] is old law to be omitted. LBD13097-01-3
