PEOPLES-STOKES -- read once and referred to the Committee on Tourism, Parks, Arts and Sports Development AN ACT to amend chapter 372 of the laws of 2008, amending the parks, recreation and historic preservation law relating to establishing the Niagara Falls underground railroad heritage commission, in relation to the effectiveness thereof THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Section 3 of chapter 372 of the laws of 2008, amending the parks, recreation and historic preservation law relating to establishing the Niagara Falls underground railroad heritage commission, is amended to read as follows: S 3. This act shall take effect immediately; provided that section two of this act shall expire and be deemed repealed on [April 30] DECEMBER 31, [2013] 2015. S 2. This act shall take effect immediately, except that if this act shall have become a law on or after April 30, 2013 this act shall take effect immediately and shall be deemed to have been in full force and effect on and after April 30, 2013. EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets [ ] is old law to be omitted. LBD08251-02-3
