ABBATE -- read once and referred to the Committee on Governmental Employees AN ACT to repeal paragraph (b) of subdivision 2 of section 75-b of the civil service law relating to enacting the "public employee whistle- blower protection act" THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Short title. This act shall be known and may be cited as the "public employee whistleblower protection act". S 2. Paragraph (b) of subdivision 2 of section 75-b of the civil service law is REPEALED. S 3. This act shall take effect immediately. EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets [ ] is old law to be omitted. LBD01476-01-5
