S T A T E O F N E W Y O R K ________________________________________________________________________ 8237 2015-2016 Regular Sessions I N A S S E M B L Y June 14, 2015 ___________ Introduced by M. of A. LIFTON -- read once and referred to the Committee on Education AN ACT to amend chapter 378 of the laws of 2010 amending the education law relating to paperwork reduction, in relation to extending the provisions thereof THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Section 11 of chapter 378 of the laws of 2010 amending the education law relating to paperwork reduction, is amended to read as follows: S 11. This act shall take effect immediately; provided, however, that the commissioner of education shall promulgate any rules or regulations necessary to implement the provisions of this act on or before July 1, 2010; provided, further that if section ten of this act shall take effect after July 1, 2010 it shall be deemed to have been in full force and effect on and after July 1, 2010; and provided further that section ten of this act shall expire and be deemed repealed on June 30, [2015] 2020. S 2. This act shall take effect immediately. EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets [ ] is old law to be omitted. LBD10800-01-5
