 AN  ACT to amend the village law, in relation to authorizing villages to
   sell or lease advertising space on village property
 
   THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
 
   Section  1.  Subdivision  3  of  section  4-412  of the village law is
 amended by adding a new paragraph 14 to read as follows:
   (14) ADVERTISING. MAY SELL OR LEASE TO ANY PERSON,  FIRM,  CORPORATION
 OR  OTHER  BUSINESS  ENTITY,  FOR COMMERCIAL OR PRIVATE USE, ADVERTISING
 SPACE ON VILLAGE PROPERTY.
   § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
